Integrated Early Years' Cluster Co-ordinator

Salary: £200 - £250 per day
Location: Dudley

About the Role

We are seeking a flexible and committed professional to join our Integrated Early Years' Service as a Cluster Co-ordinator on a temporary basis (3 days per week) until March 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to children and families in Dudley by supporting high-quality early education and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a cluster team but with flexibility across the whole area in response to need to deliver outstanding early years provision across maintained and non-maintained settings.
  • Support and challenge providers to improve outcomes for all children, with a particular focus on vulnerable groups and those with SEND.
  • Work flexibly across the clusters, responding to emerging needs and deploying resources where they will have the greatest impact.
  • Provide professional advice, training, and support to schools, settings, and governing bodies.
  • Analyse data and report on outcomes, ensuring statutory responsibilities are met and best practice is shared.
  • Build strong partnerships with families, providers, and external agencies to promote school readiness and resilience.

About You

  • Significant experience in early years education, including work within Local Authority and SEND contexts.
  • A strong understanding of universal early years services and the challenges facing children and families.
  • Flexible, creative, and resilient, with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, managing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Committed to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and evidence of continued professional development.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including occasional evenings if required.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes.
