Job Title: Traffic Engineering Lead

Client: Dudley Council

Location: Dudley- Hybrid

Rates: £250 umbrella (£191.15 PAYE) per day

JOB SUMMARY

To lead and direct the design and implementation of Traffic Management and Road safety schemes. Advise on traffic management strategy and policy and manage a small team delivering traffic management schemes and Traffic Regulation Orders.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Directing on traffic management and road safety technical and legal matters.

• Considering Road Traffic Accident information and relevant data to develop programmes of work for delivery.
• Interpretation of traffic management proposals and coordinating value engineering proposals for scheme implementation.
• To ensure a high standard of service is provided to people affected by the work of the Section and ensure appropriate notices are served and full and proper consultation as appropriate is undertaken
