Today, we say hello to Shabana Iqbal, our Business Manager.
Tell us about your working background.
I have over 20 years in public sector recruitment and extensive experience implementing and stabilising managed services and master vendor solutions for NHS Trusts across the UK. I also have a lot of experience analysing and improving operational processes and functions for healthcare recruitment agencies.
What is your role at Connect2Dudley?
I have been appointed as the Business Manager, leading a team of Talent Partners and Resourcing Assistants to grow and develop a Talent pool of workers for Dudley Metropolitan Council. I make sure that we are reducing agency reliance and temporary worker compliance is upheld to required standards.
What do you like about working in the recruitment industry?
The variety and sense of satisfaction are realised when successfully fulfilling a requirement for a customer, client or candidate.
What are you most looking forward to about your new role?
I look forward to building and developing productive relationships across Dudley Metropolitan Council to help understand the issues/challenges. We'll make sure to be meeting if not exceeding expectations.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I am a family-orientated person and spend my spare time enjoying quality time with my family and friends.
